Okay, so if any of you saw my other thread I am probably the worst social person ever... I can't talk to girls at all. Talking should just be going with the flow like everyone says but it doesn't for me. Last night my best friends girlfriend and the girl I like wanted me and him to come over(I'm not sure which one or maybe both actually wanted me to come with) and we did but unfortunately I said.... um... nothing pretty much the whole time pretty much the whole time I said something to the girl I like about twice which was saying hi, I think I asked her one question when we went on a "spirited" drive in my car, and I said bye... I know I'm an idiot but at least I'm trying more than before to talk to people. It was even worse because it was supposed to be me her my friend and his gf but we ended up with like three other people : / I texted her saying next time we need to hang out with less people so we can actually talk and I apologized for being so shy. Anyways for now I want to stick with texting and I am gonna try and hang out with her next week(Mon. or Tue.) But I have no idea what to say(again going with the flow isn't working so well for me...) I need some MAJOR pointers lol please anything will help even the smallest details and I know pretty much everyone texts so hopefully I can get some real help here cause I need it... So far I usually am just like 'how are you doing' 'what are you up too?' 'doing anything cool today?' and thats usually pretty much it lol but I cant keep sending the same texts can I? I really need help so ya let me know any advise you have...

What I tend to do if it gets awkward, is try and remember something from the last time I spoke to them, and ask them about it, or tease them if you know them well enough. But then again, if you know them that well, it shouldn't go silent :/

Just think of things beforehand that you could ask/say to try and start off a coinversation.

Well we haven't really talked at all except on text but there isn't really anything I could use from that. We only meet like a week ago and all I know is she seems really cool and I know she has a crush on me so thats why I am even trying... She is also pretty quiet so I have heard her talk just about as much as I have talked in front of her and its only to our own friends not to each other cause we're both kinda shy/quiet until we are comfortable.

Well all I really know about her is what is on her myspace(as creepy as that sounds lol) she likes long pointless walks, adventure, watching stars, music, food, sunshine, summertime... But even with that how am I supposed to get that into the conversation without sounding weird? I need like examples of text conversations(I know thats kinda lame but ya) but there aren't any online or anything...

Edit: also do you guys think I should comment on her myspace? or just stick to text cause I have no idea what I would say as a comment, not that I would know what to say in a text but w/e

You cant have no social experience with anyone. Talk to your best friend, male or female, listen to what your talking about then remember it and then talk to the girl about similar things. Just don't be a fool and talk about inappropriate things.
