she's perfect.
she's smart, funny, beautiful, just everything that i could ask for and more. she knows how i feel, but she doesnt feel the same way about me. she always goes out with guys who are jerks and who cheat on her, and then i'm always there to comfort her when she gets her heart broken (which seems to happen too often). And then, she complains about how there are no good guys out there for her. So that makes me feel bad, because im right here, willing to do absolutely anything to make her happy but she doesn't even seem to care. I'd treat her the way she deserves to be treated, and i just wish that she'd understand that. And now she likes another guy who is almost definitely gonna break her heart somehow, because he's just one of those guys who wants sex or whatever. I'm so angry at life, i have no idea what to do >< any advice?

next time she says that theres noone perfect, ask her to give you two a chance. same goes for you braingoo. take a risk. and if its gets awkward just tell them nevermind and that you'll always be there for them.

This is another typical sad ending story which is the reason why ladder theory was made.

Don't fall prey to that 'nice guy' attitude. Don't be that wimp with no backbone who is doormat enough to listen to a girl's emotional problems. Once she sees you as a friend and not a man, there is no way back. Unless you are capable of changing the way you interact with her completely. I doubt that you can do that if you have been her best friend for a while. Just move on and look for other girls. If you can't do that, then well, tough luck bud. Everyone goes through some kind of phase like that.

I went through this once. Loved my best friend, and still do. She said no and for months I was trying all I can to convince her nothing is so wrong with us together.
