Well there's this girl I like and I recently told her how I felt but, I also told her that Im sorta afraid to have a relationship cause ive seen what relationships can do to some of my friends and stuff. I know I shouldnt compare but well I just told her to give me some time to think about it and she said shes ok with it and well Im afraid that if I wait too long shell lose interest, but if I dont think this through ill be in a relationship that I dont want to be in but ill be in too deep.

Well if I were you I'd just ask her if you could take it slow. Nothing serious, maybe take her out on a date see how that goes or something. I wouldn't worry about it too much, if you don't think it will work if you do start very slowly chances are you wont be in deep enough to cause any issues.
