Ok this is inky coming at you live, here in studio 2. any way anybody who has been following my post know that my summer has been a drama, and with any drama it seems as though a classic twist has been put on the spot. When i last left off I had pretty much lost my girl, for pretty much no real reason she's just tried I geuss whatever any, on top of that i also lost my job.

go forward about two days, I found a new job, working in a hotel, as a dishwasher, as it so happened a middle female friend also works there. now I kind of have my suppesions that she might like me just a little but im not sure.

so my questions are

A.what kinds of signs am I looking for?

B. shes kind of a shy girl, and she knows how i felt about my ex, so how do i brake the ice if i see the flag wave.

and finnaly

C. If all goes well and we start dating (taking it slow of course), would it be a bad thing? as much as I wanna stand by my ex shes just unreachable, its seems like what she wants to do but do you thing that it would be bad to date her friend, and so soon to?

I think that you just need to be confident and move along, of course it isn't a bad thing to go for this girl, if you feel for her, and shy girls are always nice. Your ex is your ex, she broke up with you, so I would not try again, let her approach if that's on your mind, but for now just live your life and be happy this new girl showed up.

Hey first of all, see if her body language means anything to you. If she's especially being shy around you or if she's smiling a lot, etc. Those are some of the things that might tip you off that she might just like you. Since she is a shy girl, you should start making the first move and start talking to her more and get really friendly. To answer your third question, if all does go well and you've begun dating her, it wouldn't be a bad thing. Your ex-girlfriend was the one who dumped you, I assume. You're entitled to your own happiness, so if this new girl makes you happy - go for it.

Well, if the two girls are friends, then it's a different story. Just ask your ex-girlfriend if you can get together with her friend, see if it's okay with her. It's not necessarily asking her for permission to date her friend, it's just to avoid future confrontations with her and her friend. So yeah, if I were you, I'd see if it's okay with her first before moving on.

ok but can anyone answer the final question, her birthday is next saturday, even if we arnt dating, i would still like be her friend, i dont want to ask her what she wants cause i wanna come off as thoughtful and cute or whatever. she's had a lot of bad exsperences with men before and i want to do something that says, "im different from those guys, no seriously, true story."

Right, her birthday - what does she like to do? What is she interested in? If she likes music, you should burn a CD for her with all her favorite songs and whatnot. If she loves going outside, take her to a park and plan a picnic for her. It really depends on whatever she's interested in. Also, give her a birthday card that you made, which is also very thoughtful and definitely coming from you.
