I'm 14 going on 15, and there's this girl I really like. I mean, really like. She's just ridiculously perfect. And we're good friends. I finally told her how I feel, and she told me she didn't feel the same way. I am really down in the dumps. I've never felt like this for anyone before. She emailed me later, elaborating and I retorted nastily, but that was when I was really frustrated, and I apologised and she understood. Does anyone have any techniques to stop me feeling so down? Is all hope lost?

you're gonna feel like shit if you keep thinking about her, so take your mind off her by doing other things. i know right now you'll be sitting there going 'that's fucking easy for you to say bitch, i really like this girl,' but fuh real, all you can do is do other things and not think about her. and then when you do eventually end up thinking after about a week of not thinking about her, you'll just laugh. trust me.

the fact that she rejected doesn't mean that life is at its end. You've got to hold on and forget that whole episode... Move on, go talk to other girls and befriend other people. The more the merrier? you shouldn't be depressed because of rejection, it might occur more than once in a life time [ i know it.. -->me]

you could warm up to her try and get her to like you and if you dont go overboard with it maby she could grow to like you but that might hurt more

I'm just now going through that. I was just rejected by a good female friend of mine when I told her how I felt about her. She just told me she'd call me tomorrow. I know that she won't.
We were supposed to go to a concert soon, but then this happened, so I sent her a message saying she ought to just find somebody else to take her.
Saying that made me feel like shit and want to apologize so I sent another message saying that if she wanted to still go with me I could take her, but the message didn't go through, she already blocked me from her phone. That hurts hard.
So I say fuck it. I've been through it before. The difference is that before I didn't let go. I still pursued the girl that rejected me for three years, ignoring other girls. Now I know better, that if she's rude enough to just straight up block the calls of a friend who loves her then she's not worth remembering.
She sure was fun, though.
