Basically, I have a little problem with jealousy...

Whenever my girl friend mentions talking with other guys, or doing stuff with other guys, i get a little bit jealous.

Rationally, I know I'm just being ridiculous. I know she would never ever even think of doing anything. But I still can't get that weird feeling, you know?

What is making me so jealous? How can I stop being so jealous?

I don't know what to tell you.
I used to be really jealous but I think it depends on your relationship.

I am confident in my relationship with my boyfriend so for example the other night at dinner, the hostess who walked us in to sit at our table knew some of my boyfriends friends, and she knows my bf has lots of money so she started flirting with him

and was like "oh so what are you doing nowadays" and just trying to chat him up. if i was jealous I would get mad, but I spotted a friend of mine eating across the restaurant so while this girl was trying to flirt with my boyfriend I went over to my friends table and was like "hey the hostess is flirting with m boyfriend so I left those two to chat" and said hi.

I think you have to be confident with yourself, and then confident with your relationship so you don't get jealous. I think when you really love someone it makes things easier.

She's with you for a reason though.

Out of curiosity, how long have you two been together? Usually at the start of a relationship jealousy can get a little bad sometimes. I don't think there's anything wrong with being jealous, provided that it doesn't get out of hand.

It might be that your girlfriend is mentioning that to see your reaction because jealousy can also indicate how much you care about the relationship. As long as you don't become controlling, it should be okay. If anything, talk to her about it. Ask her straight out why she mentions it and how it makes you feel.
