sorry this is so long

A situation between me and a few people at college is kinda annoying me right now. I am going to explain it..i apologize that its so long LOL! Sorry if its very hard to understand also, just needed to get it off my chest. Right..
I met this girl at college at the beginning of the year, we become quite good friends and got along great up until a couple of months ago when we fell out at college. There was a bit of a sticky situation though because she was sexually attracted to me and slightly obsessed about it. It began to concern me, i didnt know what to do. My mentor found out about it and was also concerned about what was going on. My mentor was also concerned about the fall out me and my the girl (sam) had because she noticed both of us were down. Anyway a couple of days after (when we still werent speaking) i got a phone call from sam..she was trying to be my friend again, but meanwhile told me some concerning things over the phone. E.g- that the mentor had been spreading my personal stuff around the college. I got slightly annoyed at this because i didnt understand why she would do this...or why sam would say this. I told the mentor about this and what was still going on, she was annoyed at the fact of a student saying she had been telling one of students she is passing their stuff around, which i now know she could get the sack for. So i still wasnt speaking to sam because she was telling me so many different tales..i could not cope with all the shit. I then found out she was coming between people and their relationships..i also realized there was one argument that split into many situations between different students, that were dragged down intothe situation by her!! It was really frustrating and annoying because different people were saying different stories. Anyway i kinda sussed out what was happening, that sam was trying to come between my bond with the mentor. Because we get along so well, sam didnt like it and decided to spread shit around the college. I ignored this but it just got out of hand, so we eventually went to the head teacher. This was mainly because a member of staff was dragged down into the situation in the wrong manner. (which also concerned me). So i hoped it had stopped now that we had all discussed it in the mentors office. However i was wrong. Sam just kept flaring the whole situation up again..causing so much hastle. Now i am worried this will happen again in september..i dont know what to do. I know i can tellthe mentor but she may be sick of hearing the situation being bought up over and over again, but i am annoyed that someone has tried to come between me and my friends and nearly broke me and me friends up. It may sound so pathetic, which it is, but the fact of this going on, just isnt on. Each time its the same storyline but with different characters...now im afraid the same thing will happen again in september because this is now the fourth time she has repeatedly tried to break my friendships up. Maybe i am worrying too much now..but it really pisses me off when it gets spread around that we're having sex together :S then she starts saying my friend is gong around shagging other women. Its so childish! Shes obsessed over me though, this is hard to cope with because i know exactly what shes capable of doing.

Any sugestions?
