I seem to be extremly flirtingly challenged. I could really use some adivce. Primarily this. How to get into a conversation followed by, how do I flirt and show that I'm interested?

Ohhh this is a good thread. I need some help too but I can give you some advice.

What I do and seems to work is making them laugh at the appropriate time. If you do it whenever than that would be really weird.

You need to become a stalker first. Learn everything you can about a person. Learn their hobbies or sports. Then mention the topic. Remember, body language is KEY when flirting, closely followed by verbal skills. You don't have to be smooth, slick, and cool when sweet talking, you just need to get the point across.

Here's an example of a typical girl/boy for nerd/jock:

G: "So, how's football going?"
B: - your crush inserts something along the lines of "going good" -
G: "Oh, I'm sure you're doing great. Is it fun?"
B: - no one will say "no" unless they're different, so they'll say "yes" -
G: "Oh, that's good *GIGGLE* I'm totally going to come to your game to see you?"

Unless they're unsocial or socially challenged, they'll be flattered for the attention. You win.

Take a read through all that. Tell us how that helps you. It helps if you are capable of being able to easily talk to the opposite sex as well. If you can remember the things they tell you and bring it up later, that shows you are interested in the stuff they have to say. Also smiling about a lot of the things is good too.

Thanks all for the help. One major problem is that I don't seem to have a spine. Confidence is something I lack when I talk to girls. But I guess if I can read poetry in front of every one of the students in my school I SHOULD be able to talk to girls. Quite the conundrum. Did I spell that right?

but really, just be yourself, and talking to girls is just like talking to guys, eccept its harded to look into their eyes when you talk to them...which you need to be sure to do. be funny if youre funny, but if youre not funny dont try. when people that arent funny try to be funny its horrible and awkward for everyone. just act like you would normally
