last night me and my girl off almost 2 years went out and had a wonderful night together....she told me she is joining the national gaurd in a few months(which is her dream). needless to say we got into a huge fight and now she wont talk to me. we were planning on getting engaged this year and even though we have had our ups and downs we truley love each other. i am a aspiring rapper that has a deal in order as long as i go to new york a few months to do an album and i told her if she joined i was going up there which i didnt mean but i said out of stupidity. i also said that maybe we didnt need to be together since our lives seemed to be going in different ways. truth be told, i love her, i do not care about the money or anything, all i want is her to be happy. i have tried apologizing and i even cried my eyes out telling her i didnt mean what i said and all she will say is that she dont want to talk. i love this girl with all my being but i dont know how to fix this. someone please help me......i dont want to lose her over something i said that i didnt mean |

Tell her you're sorry and that you didn't mean it until she comes around. If you guys have to go in different ways, you both have to put extra effort to keep your relationship going. Long distant relationships don't usually work and it seems that you'll be in it sooner or later, with you being a rapper and your girl following her dream. It's inevitable for the two of you, but with trust and love in each other, it will all work out. Just have faith and don't lose hope.

You should support her decision on joining the national guard. They pay for her education after she comes out of the service. Needless to say, an apology would be nice. She wanted your opinion and this her dream. Don't stop her from fulfilling her dreams of wanting to be in the guard. If you think about long term; I know in some services they pay for your rent or something like that. If you two were to get engaged you would be semi stable financially | |
