Racism is a big problem. People think that it doesn't exist anymore, but my god does it. I'm not excluding myself - I've done it. I've used derogatory terms to represent other colors. I've also put down jews, or gays. But when I do it, I don't mean it. And I won't do it around people I really don't know.


I only do it to make my friends laugh...I don't honestly believe everything I say....

Did any of that make sense?

now you say that you "kid around" with your friends, and that's alright to you and whoever ur with. But to some people it really offends them. sometimes even myself, i know people make fun of me because i'm half mexican, but come on. I've been through a rough childhood dealing with that.

I think there's a lot of racism. I'm not sure why people think it's gone; just because you give a group of people (who previously had no rights) some rights doesn't mean the bias against them won't go away.

Ex., just because women can now work and stuff doesn't mean there aren't men who see them as inferior.

(That doesn't mean it goes both ways, too; there are women who see themselves superior to men)

There is also people who concentrate on these biases so much that they reach a new level of racism. (Ex., if someone of a certain color does something bad because of a race conflict, and it's considered racist to punish them)

I personally wish people would stop focusing on color so much. :\ (Maybe it's just me and my friends, but I never even notice someone's race until it's pointed out. ^^; )

Ya there is a lot of racism still. It's not as obvious as it used to be but I honestly think racism will NEVER truly be nonexistent. There is always going to be someone who keeps it going from generation to generation.

I think everyone is racist to some extent. Weather they like to admit it or not, they are. I know that even I'm racist at times. I sometimes say something without thinking and then realize how it came out. My dad's side of our family is very racist. They think and say that they're Christians but they are almost the most racist people I have ever met.

Yes, racism is a big problem unfortunately. Not only is it just wording, but actual offense too.
People dont respect each other enough and just find it kool to come out with such offensive wording to someone of another coloring or whatever. I know not everyone is like that, but a lot.

Racism is one of the major issues in the world today man. I come across it a lot. Im not racist though, youll see me hanging around with anyone of any race.
