Basically i just want to know your views on body modications what you think of them. I am personally very interested in them.

I am 15, i have 9 piercing ( tragus, tongue web, side lip, 2 standard cartilage, 1st lobes streched to 8mm, and 2nd lobes. ) and have retired 3.( 2nd lobes ,1 standard cartiagle). i plan to get multiple microdermals, about 15 ( maybe more ) piercings, tattoos, strech some more and possibly scarfication.


for those you do not know body mods are they include

Piercing
Tattoos
Scarring
Suspention
Scarfication
Subincusion
Streched piercings ( dont you dare say gauged)
Implants

and that i cant be bothered to list . If you have no idea what they are use BME encyclopedia

i'm not into it myself, but I think chicks with piercings can look really hot as long as they don't over do it. nipple & clit piercings are especially sexy!

Not a fan of tatoos though.

Implants can look hot if they are done right, but the feel is different and can sometimes be a turn off depending on how it is.

I only got into it as i wanted a tragus piercing so i started researching an came across a body jewellery forum. , and everything grew from there. You become desenseified things as time goes on, and things like streched septums just become the norm.

i would only do piercings i wanted a tattoo on my ankle of a dolphin but i don't want that anymore infact i've gone of tattoos

I'm not a fan of any of it. I did have my ears pierced once, however they got infected and I let them grow shut. I don't like the thought much of inflicting pain on myself just to have some kind of tattoo or piercing. It is likely I will die without any holes or ink on my body at all.

I have friends with tasteful tattoos and piercings. These I do not mind. Overdoing it.. though its their choice, I find it distasteful.

I do look down upon things such as implants and the likes. For most, its a insecurity issues. As if bigger boobs will make you a more confident, self-assure person. I do not like it because of the emotional aspect.

Basically, none are for me at all. I would never consider it. And though might make me cringe to see a person COVERED in tattoos, peircings and all that... well, I've still met some of those which are very cool people. It doesn't take away from who they are as a person.. just makes my eyes bulge. :P

Anyway (although val already knows from me anyway) I'm not much of a fan of piercings. I don't mind a few like maybe in your ears etc. but I think you can overdo it and generally form an addiction like my good friend here :P The only piercing that I want is a lip piercing but I don't really want that much anymore.

Now tattoos if they are tasteful and small I think they're quite nice. I don't like huge tattoos all over the body but one or two small ones are fine by me.

Not really. Piercing and tattoos is just another way of 'following the trend' where a large group of teenagers start doing something because others have done.

It is, but your idea of individuality as above isn't individuality at all. It just peer-conformity behaviour, which is informally called as 'following the herd'. Individuality is all about the mind and personality, not about sticking pins in your body and making artwork on your skin.

I only do it because i like the way they look, and the bulid up to the actual thing, although mentally i suppose i do it partly as a self harm thing..

I had a corset peircing on my back for a while, and had snake bites too, but I had to take 'em out when I started working ^^ Now I just have my cartilage pierced thrice.

Body modications are fucking hot.

I have snake bites, my tongue pierced and twelve holes in my ear.
I plan to get heaps more. Such as my neck, hip, spider bites, eyebrow, navel, nipples, clit, thumb webbings, my eye lid, my nose, my septerm and my ears stretched.
I also plan to get my arms covered in sleeves of tattos and my back covered.
