Hmm... personally I have nothing against Russians or Russia itself but our history has never been great (UK and Russia that is) I can't help but actually being a little wary of the Russian goverment but maybe its our governments that are making us more worried than we should actually be.
Of course, we need to stay on the right side of the russians if we want the limited supply of gas left ^^
I do find Russia quite interesting and would love to visit some time!

When someone says Russia, these are some of the things that come to mind:
- Russians
- Mother Russia
- Glory to the mother land!
- Soviet Union
- Joseph Stalin
- Borris
- Premier Romanov
- Command & Conquer: Red Alert
- Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
- Command & Conquer: Yur's Revenge
- My uncle who was in the leather trade in Russia for half of his life
Has created this theme with the purpose to learn your attitude to Russia
I think it is one of many countries with a unique culture, history, politics, etc. It was also the home of a man named Leo Tolstoy who wrote my favorite short story ("How Much Land Does A Man Need?").
Your question is... odd.

Another hole in the wall of my inner defenses Leaving me breathless, the reason I know
Russia is an interesting country, to say the least. I think of it as a been there, done that, country. The rise and fall of communism, dramatic inflation, and so on. Morever, my birthday happens to be near the day when Boris Yelstin quit the communist party. Pretty interesting.
But whats with the whole -in name ending?
PutinStalin Yelstin Lenin.
Plus, one of the only countries to display the body of a dead dictator in a public square!
All things said, Russia has brought us many interesting things. Sputnik, The Klasnicov rifle, the MiG, SKYLAB, etc. Even the first man (and dog) in space! Pretty interesting, no?
I have read through opinion of all. As a whole as I have understood at you good representation about Russia. But you much do not know! At us gangsterism corruption and so on prospers. The country suffers not that we poor (actually we the richest country) and because of authority which takes all of money! And a life in Russia such, that survive the strongest!
What at you at schools and colleges speak the teacher about Russia? (do not hesitate, speak as is) can they not are right, in something!?
