Re: Cosmetic surgery.
People are always trying to best each other. The fact is we are 'prettier' than we ever have been as a society, but we constantly compare ourselves to others. It is not a matter of how good you look, but how you look in comparison to others. There are no winners. Cosmetic surgery is stupid.

This is surgery, body modifications doesn't necessarily mean surgery. So I guess it shouldn't be the same.

Sums it up.
It does NOT solve the problem. It hides it. At first you will only need bigger boobs to boost your self esteem, but soon will follow lypo-suction, nose jobs, lip implants, and all those other ridiculous cosmetic surgeries.

Re: Cosmetic surgery.
EXACTLY.
I do, to some extent, understand that to each their own. If that is what you want ... fine.
But I think people are fooled into thinking once they 'fix' their imperfections; everything will be okay.
You will never be perfect, and once people understand that, they can accept and love their imperfections as they are.
I also don't think it makes a person more attractive.
The only thing I see when I see someone has done that to themselves for the sake of looking better, is an insecure person.
And insecure people, are in no means attractive. ;|

Re: Cosmetic surgery.
I actually practice a form of cosmetic surgery.
Ever here of vaginal rejuvenationvaginal rejuvenation? This procedure, in a sense, makes a woman a virgin again.
I do the exact opposite

Re: Cosmetic surgery.
Deadly addiction for some. Those shows about it creep me out.
Kanye West's mother died from some mishap from her recent operations. They're having the funeral at a church down the street.

Re: Cosmetic surgery.
I once wished for it.
But i think completely different towards it now.
We were all made unique and different. In my opinion getting surgery to be similar looking to say 'your look alike' is just.... wrong! at the end of the day we are just unique and OURSELVES and i wouldnt like to change myself even though i feel uncomfortable with my looks at times.
Tbh i just think everyone is as beautiful as each other in their own way. Its true.
Exactly! I wouldnt want to be perfect if we could have been, because we wouldnt get strength in any way.
