Who besides me thinks this gal should be locked up in a mental institution? Or better yet, shot? HOW CAN YOU HATE KIDS LIKE THAT? I swear, I cannot comprehend the thought! What she is proposing is the end of the human race! If people don't have kids, then humanity will die out! Jeez, the hyper-enviormentalists are hard no to hate?

Any opinions dissenting from my own?

Good for her. If she doesn't want kids, there's no reason to bring them into this world. She's perfectly right.. .every new life takes resources. While I don't think that means we should stop reproducing really.. I think she makes a valid point and it's a very reasonable reason not to have children. Though, I would think she's a bit batty to propose that no one ever have children. However, if she were to say that more people should stop having their own babies and instead adopt, that's a very reasonable thing to advocate as well!

And as for hating babies.. well, I don't HATE them.. I just don't feel comfortable around them. I swore I'd never have children either. Though of course, I probably will.

I didn't see anywhere in there where she said she HATED children. Even if she did say she hates children, I'd only be concerned if she believed that no one should ever have children or if I thought she might actually harm them. But, that is not the case. I say if she does not like children, does not want to have her own(for good reasons), then let her be. There's nothing wrong with that.

She thinks the process of having kids should be abolished! COME ON PEOPLE. She claims that we need to stop having kids to save the enviorment! The thought of anyone, even here, supporting that sickens me. I don't want to use the word "Freak"..........

Probably a good thing in disguise though. When freakos like this don't reproduce, they'll die off. What a great day that will be for the world.

Children are gifts, but also a lot of responsibility. If someone doesnt want to have children, then she is missing out on some very special moments; but maybe she finds happiness in things that children would normally hold her back in?

She's refusing to have children because she claims they are no good, doing nothing but destroying the enviorment. Thats not a rational or sane thought.

You have taken when she said and completely blown it out of proportion. Yes, she does believe that the mroe we have children, the worse this world is going to get. That isn't irrational. She's basically someone who wants what hs best for the environment. There are already too many people on this planet as it is, so she believes people should be having less children, or choose to not have children at all, but instead adopt. That certainly isn't insane..

You can't enjoy the environment if the human race is extinct. If the lady in question thinks we should only be able to have a certain amount of kids, then I could see where she's coming from; however, it sounds as though she believes nobody should have kids, which is ignorant.

I never saw anywhere in which she stated that NO ONE should ever have children. If I missed it, please point it out ot me, but I really didn't see it. Maybe I overlooked it.
