Let's try to make a list of ways that humans are actually different from other animals in the world.
I'll start off with 1. Humans can create models of the world in their minds in order to solve problems. Humans can speculate into the future about consequences that are not just imminent.
Primarily, it's developed consciousness that makes us different. There are animals that also show signs of mental awareness, but we're doubtlessly exceeding all of them. Second, we have very complex structure of organism. From these two factors, everything else originates; such as emotions, sense of reasoning, ability to solve problems and so on.
However, we are the worst animals, the lowest of the low. Animals kill each other because of food, territory. In other words, because of survival. But we kill each other because of envy.

We're different from animals generally because of our level of consciousness and thought. No other species, for instance, comes to wonder if there is a God, or considers in depth whether something is right or wrong. Our ability to make is also superior. Even the animals that make simple tools don't make anything near what humans make.
Bacteria are single celled organisms (prokaryotic), whilst we are are eukaryotic
and have more structure to our cell, so were are not really similar to bacteria

the point is that the proteins is the once controlling the basic of life regardless of how sophisticated the creature is, some gene are just turn on or off. perhaps it would better to compare human with another mammal. regardless, same idea

I find human beings to be totally different from the other animals.
First, animals have intuition and we don't. Also, our aims are egoist while the animals one is to assure his specy's survival. Finally, humans can be nasty and animals never are. Animals can hurt humans or other animals but they don't want to and aren't aware they do hurt and they only hurt when their survival is threatened.
