Explain why, during Clinton's presidency, gas prices were looming around $1.46 a gallon.
But...
As soon as Bush become president, gas prices started to sky-rocket; and still are!
What does this have to do with the election?
Crude oil prices behave much as any other commodity with wide price swings in times of shortage or oversupply. The crude oil price cycle may extend over several years responding to changes in demand.
I'm sure he meant to say 47, as has sure to have been mentioned by now. Word slip-ups don't equate to stupidity or make make for a bad political candidate.
McCain will win and we Republicans will be in power again. There is no match for us.
Were you ever out of power? Last I checked, you still hold the presidency, and have an awful habit of changing the constitution to fit your wants--oops, I meant needs. Then again, you all seem to think the second amendment should be kept right where it is. There's something rather odd about that, as selfishness and ignorance come to mind, but perhaps I'm mistaken.
Obama has around an 8% lead in front of McCain with Hillary having a 9%. If Obama and Hillary are on the ticket together, you can probably see your white house and pro-wealthy policies being shot out of existence.

Answered you?
The invasion (Bush's work) of Iraq comes to mind, which is one reason oil prices have sky rocketed. So uhh, yeah, you still have Bush behind the wheel for our high gas prices.

Let me start off by saying, DUH, it has A LOT to do with the election.
Also, don't you find it just a little (tiny bit) odd that gas prices went up nearly 290% while the executive branch was in the hands of those who have stakes in both the Oil and War industries? Of course not, because you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I know that from your first statement of "What does this have to do with the election?".
I'll end this post by reminding you all that America is more than just 50 voting states, we also have U.S. controlled territories that vote in the U.S. elections, such a Puerto Rico
