Re: Dreaming

well i seem to only remember the nightmarish dreams otherwise i wake up not remembering anything. Although my boyfriend claims i woke up the other night screaming "stop the bus!" stop the bus!" lol

Well anyways i was wondering if anyone can smell in their dreams? My psychologist told me that people cant smell in their dreams just hear see, etc. I was wondering if that was true?

Re: Dreaming

No. That's not true. People can emulate most sensations in their dreams including smell.

Re: Dreaming

I do remember my dreams sometimes, usually my nightmares. I think I remember my nightmares more than my good dreams/strangely-whatever dreams because they make more of an impact in my brain and body. Like I get cold sweats or stiff muscles after I wake up from one. My good dreams (which I do remember sometimes) leave me feeling good about myself but don't bring out many strong reactions afterward.

I believe that the reason why some people can't remember dreams is because when we make any sudden movement after we wake up, such as sit up quickly from the alarm or shift in the bed before we go back to sleep, it disturbs our subtle/astral energy. But if one lies still and holds on to what they see in a dream then after a few moments one can still remember the latest dream(s).

Sometimes dreams are from imagination for amusment, but other times they are our subconcious reacting to what happened the day(s) before. Dreams can help us understand what we must do to fix something or how we must change to grow into a healthy lifestyle. Other times it's like the universe is showing us the future (precognitive dreams) since we are all connected to the universe and eachother.
