Thats great that you wouldnt get yourself into that situation, but trust me, it is way too common for children to be born into situations that arent good for anyone. Children are suprisingly fragile, and it is very easy to screw someone over via bad childhood. The human psyche is wildly fragile, and there are most situations are not conducive to a safe childhood. In my experiance, planned babies generally grow up in better situations than unplanned, simply because planned children are timmed to be born in times that are safe and healthy.
People who are stupid enough to get pregnant, unplanned. in the first place are generally not smart and/or mature enough to raise children. And thats a good reason why abortion should be legal and available.

I know what you're saying, and I agree to most, but having a baby at any age, there is a chance of fucking the kid up. It happens, no parents are perfect parents.
I still disagree though. I'm mostly always against abortion, and I'll always favour adoption, but it's better not to get yourself pregnant in the first place, really, as there are flaws along with adoption aswell.
Opinions just differ, it doesn't really matter.

Re: Abortion
... I never once said I'm perfect, and I by no means think it.
I do look at it from other views, as I do with everything, but I form an opinion and generally stick to it.
You can only really agree with one side of an argument, even if you look at it from all angles.
I am more mature than to get myself pregnant, I don't see why that is a bad thing.

Re: Abortion
freedom of choice. do what you want. I however do see it morally wrong to get an abortion, but I in no way plan on stopping someone from having it done.

See, if the adoption system wasnt as flawed as it is, I would agree with you. But it is so easy to fall through the cracks in the system. Social Workers are over worked, and the government just doesnt give a shit about the kids who are up for adoption, or those in foster care. Just looking at the adoption system alone, in many cases, its just better if the child wanst born at all.

Re: Abortion
I strongly think that abortion is wrong in every way. I am not saying that it is the mother's fault, I know rape happens, but that does not make it the baby's fault either. There are women out there (sadly) that do not care. They go out and have unprotected sex and then have abortion after abortion because they're too lazy to get on the pill.
Adoption is ALWAYS and option. There are so many families out there that want children but are unable to have them, and we have people out there killing babies every day!
There is already enough death in our world, do to murder and suicide. Why add to those numbers?
Also with every child you kill, you could possibly be killing thousands more. Who's to say that one of those children that have been aborted, was not going to be the person who discovered the cure for cancer?
If that is not enough to prove to people why abortion is wrong, then maybe this will.
48,589,993
That is the number of abortions preformed in the United States ALONE since 1973.

Re: Abortion
And what if the child that wasn't aborted grows up with a bad childhood and then shoots the child that YOU had? We could what IF all day. Freedom is about having a choice. Life is about choices. So I say they should be allowed to CHOOSE. I'm not like 'Oh im for abortion' because that's crazy. No one is ever FOR abortion. It's not like they get pregnant to go have like abortion partys.

Re: Abortion
I only agree with abortion if you know that the baby is going to come out with a genetic disease that could affect the babies life for the worse.
I'm from United Kingdom and I am 15 years old. I can honestly say without lying that if I got pregnant at the age I am now.. I'm not sure I'd be able to abort the baby.. It's a really hard decision to be fair.

I know a girl who had a baby when she was 15. During most of her pregnancy, she was 14 years old.
Herself and her baby are not 'fucked'.
Not ALL 14 year olds have the same maturity levels.

Re: Abortion
She's still a fucking idiot though, two reasons why to have a child before your financially stable.
One being medical problems.
Personally i think abortion is the next best thing to sliced bread, i'm pro abortion, i think more people should get abortions.

Re: Abortion
I think abortion should be regulated according to circumstance. Like if your doctor does tests to make sure your baby is alright, and your baby ends up having some genetic disorder like Tasax(its a genetic disorder where the baby will die before age 6 along with blindess and other symptoms). I would abort the baby. There is no cure and letting the child live would be torture.
Im still on the fence about whether "regular" fetuses/babies should be aborted. I think it would depend on whether or not they feel pain. If they feel pain (which to me is a sign of life) then I beleive they should live and if the mother doesn't want it, give it up for adoption. But if the baby doesn't have any signs of being alive or conscious then I think it wouldn't matter if the baby was aborted.

Re: Abortion
No pain no game, sure, the mother could give birth and then give it away.
But alot of women don't want 9 months of inconvenience funnily enough, let alone stretch marks.
I feel a baby should/can be aborted whenever the mother feels like doing so, regardless of it causing "pain"

Re: Abortion
i agree and disagree (:
really does depend on the mothers situation if she is not capable of looking after a baby then simply dont have it its unfair on the inncocent baby.
but if girls get pregnant i think they should take full responsibility of what they have done if your perfectly fine, healthy and have money, then i think they should have the child... its the right thing to do. plus my baby has made me want to live even more, its amazing what a baby can give to you and its an amzing experiance giving birth, painful... but amazing.

Re: Abortion
How's it the right thing to do? my girlfriend is healthy and has money but she has dreams and she doesnt need a child to want to live.
If she got pregnant and decided to keep the child, i'd break all ties with her, regardless of my love.
