Its becoming very apparent to me that there is a BIG gap in our legal systems
If a wife or gf in a relationship, physically abuses the man, they seem to always get away with it OR land the man in prison if they try to stop them
A few good stories that back this up: Abused Men Speak Out - Battered Men Experiences
I think this is a huge problem, because most guys, love there partner and would never want to hurt them, so trying to stop them from physically hurting them is what I guess most of them try to do as an immediate action
Its unfair that so many got sent to jail or got the children taken away and restraining orders against them from there abusive partners
On the flip side (because I am open minded)
I can see that the amount of men who abuse there partners is alot higher, so the police and the courts could see it as the man trying to say he was 'acting' in self defence to try escape worse punishments
But I think if the man is injuried (bruises, cuts etc) and the wife/gf is fine, then its rediculous to think that there the ones getting sentenced
This is a major problem, what do you think?

Because, If he had tried to stop her, he would have been hurt then be in jail and his daughter would be in her custody
Fair huh?

Their not very smart and all they do is football." Sexism against men is completely ignored because everyone focuses on sexism against women, which has mostly died out. |

Talking to doctor about it, so they know whats happening
Taking Photographs of broken objects and injuries
Making a report on everything thats happened
Talking to a helpline so they can guide him through the process
where a women just calls the police and BAM, its done

I think society needs to keep up with the times, men can be victims aswell as women. I agree, this probably will never change, but the more people who speak up about it, it can only do good for the cause. |

Fair huh? | That guy deserves the bullet between the eyes for being such a spineless prick. And I would say that if the situation were vice versa, so don't accuse me of sexism.
But yes, I think abuse towards men is overlooked a lot. Then again, I'd say the primary abuse men suffer is more likely psychological, which is overlooked in women, too, since it's very difficult to prove legally.
I don't see why people who are abused, especially if it's true that guys can't stand up for themselves without risking legal trouble, don't just video tape it. Can't argue with video.

Also, I believe if a girl hits a guy, that guy should smack her right back.
