I'm gonna say up front that I'm OK with weed not being legal in Britain. I don't use it, and I don't think I will. So, this isn't some dopehead wingeing about not being allowed drugs.

Although I do see the positives to it. It's relaxing AND healthier than ciggarettes AND alcohol.

Which is the main jist of this thread: Why the hell are people freely allowed to get high on alcohol and nicotine, an issue which, behind the government's saying 'That's a bit bad for you' they love because they get millions from the tax off it, and yet not allowed to take Marajuana?

It is hypocracy and rediculous!

This is my point. How is it that weed is classed as a drug when alchohol isn't? They have almost the exact same effects, except that alcohol will cause liver damage.

Alcohol is classified as a drug...but there are laws in place that make the sale and use of alcohol legal.

alcohol is a drug, anything that can become addictive is classified as a drug. video games are technically a drug, not everyone gets addicted but numerous people do get actual addiction to it.

Nowhere does it say anything addictive is classified as a drug. And you can't get chemically addicted to video games; it's a habit, not an addiction.

alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes are unhealthy for you no matter the amount. it may not take a big toll but every little bit affects you one way or another, even on a microscopic level
