Anyone else on Depression Medication?
I have been on Effexor XR for about a year now and I hate it. I feel like I am not "normal" since I need to have this medication not to be sad. Does anyone else here have to take medication not to be depressed? How do you feel about it?

well i havent ever had any such medicine ever but i do get depressed many a times but i somehow manage to come out of it the best thing to do is to talk to someone really close to u mayb ur best friend mayb ur bf/gf anyone whos jus the closest person to u

My medication is called 'Olina' and I have a full recovery since I started using it a year ago. I am still taking my daily dose exept on some weekends 
PS: For those who havent understood yet, Olina is my best friend and makes me laugh to death even when I feel dead.  |

I am also on medication. I am on this drug called Lexapro, I have to take two pills a day and it drives me crazy to try and remember to take it. If I don't take it though I get really uneasy and jittery, almost like having a panic attack.

Your case is Clinical Dperession. Don't listen to what people say about depression, follow your doctor and your medication to the book. It is caused by a hormonal imbalance, endorphins (feel good) hormones decrease. It is not because you have stress, it is biological and no amount of cheering can help unless the problem is treated medically. Take the medication and you'll see the result with time from 6 months to 3 years.
P.S: Have lots of sleep at any cost at least 9 - 12 hours a day.

im on one dose on citalipram every day its annoying if i forget it for like 2 days i'm fucked, i've also been on zispin (sp?) and another one called fluoxotene (sp?) ugh i have no idea how to spell half of these i've been on so many now. highest does i've ever been on was the fluoxotene which was 90miligrams a day.

I take Zoloft for Panic Attacks mainly but it works for depression too. Honestly this medicine saved my life no question in my mind. I've been on it for 3 going on 4 years and my life is finally normal again.
