I was told by a few friends to post this somewhere, and since this is an advice and experience sharing place, I figured maybe some people can get ideas from it. This is a blog I wrote after losing a second friend to suicide within a six month period.

"now im going to write on a subject i didnt want to. but i feel i need to. its important to myself that i do. its because we may all have to deal with it at sometime in our life. i have dealt with it myself. and i have also fought against it. it almost took me, just as it took one of my friends. and last night a friend of mine lost a friend to it. so here we go on this troubling subject.
suicide. it is a horrible thing. the taking away of one's life by own methods. millions of people attempt suicide each year. and millions of people are successful. now successful sounds like a bad word to use. but its true. they accomplished what they wanted to do. i lost a close friend of mine to it, and it hits hard. it hurts every person that the dead knew. the victim, if they touched many people in their lifetime, hurt all those same people in their dying. it is a huge problem, especially among teenagers. depression is one cause that can lead to it. family problems. bullying and exclusion. but many factors can lead to someone attempting suicide. just last night a friend of mine who i was talking to, told me their friend had just killed herself. i just thought back to six months ago when i dealt with a friend going the same way. its so difficult to deal with, and it happens to often. i will admit this. judge me all you want, i dont care. i attempted it before. three times in total. and i havent attempted in a year and a half now. but its scary. if i was more hellbent on succeeding i wouldnt be here. but im glad im still here. if i wasnt here now, i never would have met the good friends i have now. so, if you know a friend who is depressed or see a kid being bullied, try to help them. dont join in the bullying. stand up to the bullies. who knows, you could save a life."

they said it was a dead on perspective from a teen's view. i don't know if they are right, but I believe what they tell me.

People who commit suicide are weak people who can't handle stress in life. If there is a hell then they should burn it it. My opinion
