can anyone give me an idea as to what my problem could be or what i can do?

Ok here is the story. This has been going on for 1.5 years now. Randomly i can be going for a run, sitting in a coffee shop or hanging with my friends when all of a sudden i feel strange. It is like i cant recognize where i am and my friends faces are like faces i have neverseen before. Like memory loss but not really since i can still say their names. when this happens it is as if my soul has left my body and im not the wandering soul but the robotic body and i cant seem to connect myself to my surroundings. it is like i was disconnected or not really "there". Sometimes it happens its not so bad i can still function. When im 100 percent disconnected i start to panic screaming or reaching to grab something i can touch. when its 100 percent its like terror i have never felt a worse terror in my life like im disappearing into nothing.

I dont drink , smoke , i exercise and eat healthy. does anyone have any advice for me? This has gotten so bad it has become hard for me to even leave my house and im very social and outgoing i want my life back.

Go see a doctor or psychiatrist?

apart from the internet have u told anybody, if not u should, specially ur parents

i told my friends and my family. my friends think nothing is wrong im just "stressed". my family thought i had a nervous breakdown and took me to the ER. they didnt do much for me but give me an anxiety pill which has not changed anything. since then i have still remained in this weird state. its almost like i have no self awareness. but im worried this is more than stress and i cant think of what to do to fix it.

Its like your conscious, or maybe unconscious mind is disconnecting from your body or something. I don't even know. I wish I had some long detailed opinion on what it is.

My instinct makes me want to think you need to find meaning in your life. As in you must form your world outlook. Maybe with a found purpose and beliefs, this will not happen for your mind will be determined to a goal and stay connected together.

It just seems like something in your is disconnecting. Maybe with a goal it would unite together? I don't know. Give it a shot.

I would post this in a psychology/health forum that has Doctors or people who know more about what they are talking about.

Go see a Psychiatrist, I doubt anyone on here will be able to provide any kind of advice for such a case. Good luck.

I would go see a medical professional.
One of them should at least no what's going on.
If not visit a medium or someone that has experience with ghostly things - they might know because what happens to you seems really ghostly and strange.

I am not sure what else to suggest.
But try them and see is you can get any answers.
