Wes Borland is my favourite.
Wes Borland isn't maybe the one who come up with the hardest solos, but he got very cool riffs.
I like many other guitarists such as Tom Morello, Stephen Carpenter an Al Di Meola.

Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo from Sonic Youth are probably are amazing. They're not the most skilled, but they're the most experimental and inventive. J. Mascis from Dinosaur Jr is also great.
