Re: Best Decade For Music
I can't believe 00's is actually in second place.
In my opinion the order from best to worst is:
1. 90's
2. 70's
3. 80's
4. 00's
5. 50's and before
6. 60's

Glam metal looked dumb, no doubt about that, but that doesn't detract from the music, nor should it speak for music in general.

Re: Best Decade For Music
I think the 80's. It's when punk, indie and many other genres found their way to success, leading to a blooming decade dedicated to music.
Although my favourite bands are from the 90's (Muse, Placebo, Marilyn Manson, Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana...).

Re: Best Decade For Music
80's.. I agree. How could it not be winning? Yes, the people who made the music looked like freaks, but the music was great none the less.

Re: Best Decade For Music
I have to say the 90s where the best for me. Because a lot of my favorite bands started in the 90s. Many of my favorite albums where made in the 90s.
I don't know what I'd be doing if I lived before the 90s. I just wouldn't as big into music as I am now.
