Tom cruise but then pierce brosnan was a good james bond...but then cruise made the firm and did mission impossible.

Prefer for what? They're all different actors. Arnie is clearly the best of the three in terms of action films, but I would say Brosnan is probably the best actor overall. Cruise is just... well, who cares. He did a pretty good job in The Last Samurai though.

While I personally think Brosnan is the best Bond, ever since he started starring in the iconic role, the films have went from spy movies to action movies. That's not necessarily a good thing.
