At least I can say, with all the unimaginable fandom surrounding it, it's not nearly as cringe-inducing a franchise as Twilight

I read all the books.
I also watched the movie.
The movie was pretty good. Although there were some details that lacked tackling/discussion. So I think it would've been better if you read the books first before watching the movie.

My folks sent me the whole series the last time I was overseas. The books are great I however believe they butchered the movie.

Books were good. Mockingjay made me mad except the epilogue, but still. Movie was good too but took out soo many good parts. It would've been better if you read the books first which I did. The actors/actresses were perfect though! Haymitch looks EXACTLY how I imagined weird haha
