-J.K. Rowling (Her books created a cult following that is absolutely darling and will continue for years to come, how can I not respect that?)
-Sarah Dessen (She tackles taboo subjects with grace and eloquent phrasing.)
-Shakespeare (Yet another case in which someone rose out of obscurity and managed to make a name for themselves...in my opinion, his works are still vastly underestimated.)
-John Green (His courage to accept himself and others so simply is refreshing, and it shows in his writing.) |

Then there's Stephen King who has written some of my favourite books but has written way too much shit that outweighs his gold. Overall I'd probably say Steinbeck. ---------- Post added at 03:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:02 PM ---------- Quote:

I'm not even sure why, but i think it's because i have never enjoyed anything literary as much as i enjoyed The Fault in Our Stars. Although that is coming from a guy who is new to the awesomeness that is reading. So i'm not really an expert on good authors. |
