Anyways, I think most YA stuff is trash but a good coming of age story is the novella "The Body" in Stephen King's "Different Seasons." |

but you should read by the time you read this, i'll be dead by julie anne peters. it was one of the better YA books i've read. trigger warning for suicide and shit. the chosen one by carol lynch williams was also good, mostly because it actually had a plot that wasn't two people meeting, having some witty banter and falling in love.

I haven't really read these sorts of books for a good few years now but there are a few good ones.
Great Expectations is a good "coming of age" book but most people know how good of a book that is, same with Catcher in the Rye.
