Okay so I drink alcohol everyday, but only in the night before I have my dinner. If I drink alcohol everyday like this, does it make me alcoholic and obsessed? I don't want to become alcoholic and someone who cannot live without alcohol but I quite enjoy drinking alcohol everyday. It is fun and interesting. What do you suggest me to do?

Just don't drink too much everyday, if its just a bit (and I think it is by the way you wrote it) then it doesn't matter.
As long as you don't have to be drunk every night your okay, just watch it that you don't drink too much.

its not about how often you drink, its about being able to control how much your drinking.

I think we need a little more information because it depends what you are drinking, and how much of it you drink. It's pretty common to have a glass of wine or equivalent every day but a bottle of vodka is obviously a different matter. I can't really draw conclusions based just based on the fact that it's alcohol every day.

Having said that I can tell you that if you were a full blown alcoholic I doubt you would only be drinking at night before dinner, you'd probably be trying to get as much as possible throughout the day. By the sound of it you seem to have control.

Like someone said up above, it really depends on how much you're drinking and of what. Also, depending on what country you live in, drinking different amounts of alcohol is considered typical. When I lived in Germany, people hit the bras and pubs no matter what time of day it was, whereas the US has a stigma of drinking anytime other than late evening. So, we can't say whether you're an alcoholic unless we know amounts and types. I would guess that you're not though, because most alcoholics would crave the alcohol all day and all night, finding it difficult to restrain themselves from drinking.

No. Your not an alcoholic. Your not even close. Unless your drinking straight, hard alcohol and getting so drunk you pass out right in the middle of your dinner. My mom drinks lightly before every dinner we have too, but my dad drinks all day and gets hammered before evenbreak. So no, I don't think your an alcoholic.

It depends on you, our body needs alcohol but not too much. If you only drink a little, I think it is okay as long as you are not a drunkard, but the best thing to do, is to avoid it for health reasons, if not, why not drink occasionally.
