Cures
Isn't it strange that, despite our many medical accomplishments, we really don't have cures for anything? Sure we can fight off bacterial diseases, but viruses and organ disorders are impossible. We can't cure diabetes, lupus, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatis, arthritis, alzeihmers, etc. etc. So many conditions and diseases.
When do you reckon, if ever, we will get cures for all these things? Soon? Another century?

I doubt we will ever find cures for everything. Prevention is were they should be focusing.

its not like its incredibly easy to make cures :l
takes a lot of time, and mostly Money, without it they can't do the research.

I think we'll be waiting basically until the end of time before EVERYTHING is even considered to be cured. It is annoying how we have no cures for the most deadly diseases though...Prevention is the key for this century though!

Most of you don't know what you're talking about. It's not like there's a be-all and end-all miracle cure for everything. Modern medicine is significantly more complex than that.

That is true in some cases, but not all. We definantely should have cures for some things, diabetes in particular. We can cure it in mice, but not people. |

Well maybe the cures would be found if people would stop killing their babies. Then those babies can grow up and contribute to society.
