hey, my name is Ashti i am 14 and kinda overweight my real problem is i have a flabby stomache and thighs i just want them toned so i guess i really shouldnt say overweight(but id love to drop like 20lbs) is there any one else here who wants to lose weight and tone up, i mean we can help each other out and share ideas on excercise n healthy recipes n stuff.
I'm not overweight, I'm average for my height, but I'd like to lose weight too.
I heard not eating for 9 days works and drinking water when you want to eat, but it's christmas so obviously you can't do that
I only had a jacket potato today and in the space of two days I've lost 1/4 of a stone, so that works XD
Its pretty simple. But it will take time so be patient!
Try to eat healthy, but dot just eat healthy food all day everyday otherwise it will be to hard to stick to it. You need to treat yourself every now and then.
If you want to lose weight you need to run, walk, cycle, swim etc etc try for 30 min a day. After you have lost weight you can then start toning up by doing ab crunches and leg squats etc etc or go to the gym if you want.

ok i hate running and its pretty cold to go swimming i was wondering if there are any other excercises i could try indoors maybe.
I would jumprope, it's working on your whole body, alot of celebrities do this to "tone up". I would also consider doing situps/crunches (: Oh, AND, lay on your side and lift up your legs.
As for foods, stay away from carbs+sugar+alot of calories, they are BAD. I would also try to not eat three hours before bed. Eat wheat breads instead of white, fruits+vegetables, if you eat meat, turkey & chicken.

justt cut out junk food and eat more healthy food and lots of fruit and vegetables, and exercise a lot more, instead of getting the bus or going in car just walk. running and swimming are good exercises. but if you are like me and get bored easily try something like horse riding or ice skating its more interesting.
