Tattos and body piercings

If you lave those tattos and body piecing , do you know that you can get HIV virus from the instruments used for these body art? Even the trendy temporary henna tattoos can result a lifelong allergy to a common chemical found in the dyes.

Tattoos are cool but I'm afraid to get some disease so I don't have one yet. I'm still looking for the right artist. I've pierced my own ears. It's cooler than having them pierced in some shop. I'm also sure that the needles I used were disinfected thoroughly.

You can get diseases from the guy doing uses unsterile equipment, such as in the middle of class with a thumb tak. Also once you remove piercings it leaves a mark like a pimple on the area pierced

it's not the tattoo that gives you AIDS!!!!!!!! it's the needles they use.. let's say they didn't sterilize properly and did a tattoo on an HIV positive person, then you'll get aids if he uses the same needles.. but if he uses STERILIZED needles, then you have no worries at all.

Ok. Wow. Seriously. This is the dumbest thing I have ever read..
IN MY LIFE.

They use a NEW neddle EACH time, they tattoo on someone.
And when you take out the peircing, it does not leave a pimple like mark.
I don't know where you are getting this information from, but it's wrong.
I have 14 peircings, and soon getting my first tattoo.
My mother has about 8 tattoos, and nothing is wrong with her.

You all need to look up these things before you post them.
This is crazy.

Yes, they can get INFECTED, if you dont take care of them right, but other than that, they are fine.

The needle they use is a complete new one. From a new packet and wrapping. They can not use someone else's needle unless they want a law suit. And who really wants one of those. You can get HIV from someone giving you a tattoo or piercing with a needle used by someone with HIV. Most stupid people do this at home and have no clue what they are doing. I have seen people giving theirselves snake bites with toothpicks. Um yeah you can get HIV from doing that shit. Take it from me I have fourteen piercings and getting two tattoos. You can't randomly get a HIV virus.
