Money: -1,115 | Long-term side effects to pot? Are there any long term side effects to pot? I don't smoke, I might try it some day but I have a very strong inclination that I'm going to hate it. I'm concerned about my friend who recreationally smokes multiple times a week, mixes pot with alcohol, etc. I personally find it gross when used in excess but my real question is what long term issues, if any, come from using pot this frequently? |

Yes,i know several people who have been smoking weed for years now, and they are slowly but surely deteriorating mentally and physically.Marijuana has THC in it so it can cause memory loss, slow reaction times, hallucinations, and misperceptions. When your high on marijuana, you could hurt someone and not be completly aware of it. So if I were you, I wouldn't get in the habit of smoking weed. |

My best friend was high and stabbed about four people. They were okay, of course.
Weed can cause breathing problems just as well as smoking. Anyone that thinks differently should do some more research on it. Mentally, you can lose memory. Doesn't happen in all causes. Physically, you could become a fat ass. I mean, the munchies, come on.
I say try it. Stay away from harder drugs, coke and shit. Those fuck you up badly. My friend's arms are horrible from channel swimming.
