I was at my specialist yesterday and he said i may be developing vitiligo. For those who don't know: Vitiligo is a skin disorder that attacks the colour of your skin, and destroys them. It in turn sends the person not just pale but as white as a bathroom sink. This is the disease that Michael Jackson has, the disease that sent him as white as he is now. I was wondering is anyone out there suffers it, and how it has effected there life?. Btw people with vitiligo are allergic to the sun light!!
How did it effect u?
How will it affect me?
Wat can i do?
My dad developed vitiligo when i was young, though he was diagnosed in time and he went to Cuba for treatment.
Cuba is the only place in the world that can actually cure vitiligo, or stop it in time, i think there's another treatment in Houston.
It actually doesnt make you sthat white, in some cases, you'll have patches on your own skin color and a pinksih one.
That's really a bad news for you. Can I ask you if how can you get that skin disease? I know that Michael Jackson uses some type of medicine so that his skin will be balance from the discoloration.
Yer ur kinda right about Michael Jackson, there is a treatment that can remove blotches. U asked how do u get the disease well it turns out there are a few ways: Its can be in ur family, it can be triggered by sever body shock(like sever burns to most of ur body or something), it can be set off by massive sunburn (but this has to be frequent) or it could be as random as getting cancer. It is an autoimmune disorder so it is manly due to poor gene programming. Tho i guess the good news is i have like only two spots so i might be able to treat it.
