heres a plan for an anverage week
Monday-1.5 mile run/jog/walk, whichever just do 1.5 miles,Do circuit 15 situps 10 press ups 4 pull ups/ 16 alt knee to elbow
tuesday-same as above
wednesday-Grid run 150m (basicley this improve your heartrate so improve your time if you time your runs)
thursday-bike ride 4 miles/ circuit same above
friday-1.5 mile run and circuit same as above
saturday-rest day recovery
sunday-rest day recovery- (recovery jog for 20 minutes to get all the lactic acid loosened up and then do really long stretchs to get the lactic acid out)
Ok ive just set this out randomly because i dont know how many press ups or sit ups or how long you can run for, so just alter how many reps you do, but basicley this will help your problem out, but remember before doing any excersize WARM UP, go for a 2 min jog before running, and WARM DOWN after and stretch off, this makes healing time for your body much quicker and you wont get stiff muscles the next day.
Hope this helps and remmeber pm me if u need any help on anything. |

Money: -563 | Re: Want to look good Cheers dude, that really does help! Luckily, because I live in the country, all the miles I am doing are a lot easier than they would be on a busy street
By the way, I am just wondering, is it better to eat before going for a run, or after? |

Money: 821 | Re: Want to look good nope, preferably eat 1 or 2 hgours before excersize because you have to wait for it to digest, if you eat like 10 20 or 30 minutes before you will get a stitch or just genrally feel really full up in a kind of way because the food is jigging up and down your body when running, BUT eat after excersize make sure you COOL DOWN, HYDRATE, and then Eat to make sure your energy levels are on a good level because you will feel fatigued which makes you tired and dopey. But like eat an apple and take small sips of water but frequently about 1 or 2 hours before, remember WARM UP, Jog for 2 mins then stretch out all the major muscles and remember the ankles because ive lately been having probs with them and they fuck my times up for my runs. |

It shouldn't take too long for you. How tall are you? Do you know how much you weigh? |

Money: -668 | Re: Want to look good Ah, I'm kinda in the middle of the process your going through except I probably started out with worse conditions!
So anyway, I'm 16, girls were starting to come to my school this year so somewhere about november of 2007 I started to do some excercise. I've been somewhat fat all my life, since I was 5, and I've not led an entirely satisfactory life in terms of my body, but lemme tell you this, at the beginning of 2007 I weighed about 120kgs I think and I was only 170 cms tall.
Despite me swimming ages 5-12, and playing soccer 5-16 all my life, I still managed to reach this absurd weight. But luckily for these two factors they gave me the basis for my weight loss ^.^ Swimming has given my some pretty broad shoulders, so despite the fact I'm not an entirely optimal weight right now, my broad shoulders compensate for this, I've always been a big guy and people are always surprised I'm a soccer player not a foward in Rugby haha.
So anyway with the Basis of soccer training and soccer etc, basically one day I decided to just go for it. I started out with jog/walks, lemme tell you I could NOT jog/run for more than 30-50 seconds. But as time progressed I got fitter and fitter, and I compltely changed my diet to drinking water only instead of coke zero or soft drink w/e anything not water, I only drrank water from then on. I also started doing weights and eventually my body started getting somewhat firmer. Getting to an optimal running fitness will be hard, these days I go for 30-45 minute runs constant, this is a big difference from 30-50 seconds then walking, and the rewards are amazing. The feeling is just great when you think about how much you have achieved.
Right now I weight about 95 kilos, still kinda overweight, but I'm about 180ish cm now, the main thing is I feel good mentally and physically, and when you have confidence, life's a whole lot better through your eyes.
EDIT: P.S. I didn't really change my eating habits, other than not getting tempted by Fast food and junk food, other than that just ate home prepared meals, although if you have more self-discipline than me you can achieve better results and probably faster. I've slacked somewhat now, but I'm maintaining, when you get in a ruck, don't despair try and get back into it slowly, go for a nice walk or something. |

Money: -563 | Re: Want to look good Crazy, Thanks for sharing, really glad to know I am not the only one that has decided to do this . It is the same for me, I have played for football, or Soccer, teams since I was about 7 and I still do. They are not Sunday league, get a half teams either, I play for Academy's and mainstream teams in Nottingham! I am sure I have gotten worse over the years though because of getting older and therefore staying up later, and getting hungry at 2 in the morning, so having crisps, chocolate etc
Thankfully, I have not done that in a while, and like you, have started to drink Water at night and during the day instead of lucozade or whatever there is in the fridge |
