Don't pay too much attention to BMI guys it doesn't give a good indication of how fat you are. You see it in a lot of magazines, or so my sister says and we've always been taught in P.E that it can be really misleading. It doesn't take into account muscle mass, bone mass aswell as others that can vary from person to person. A bodybuilder who weighs like 18 stone and is 5'10 will be classed as morbidly obese, even though he'll have like 5% body fat.

So, if it says you're overweight it doesn't necessarily mean you are

Vain. Also, you really shouldn't have included the anecdote about her in the first post.

Anyways, as has been said BMI doesn't really give an accurate indication of how healthy you are. A person can have like 5% body fat but still register as obese on a BMI scale because muscle weighs more than fat.

I personally fall in the underweight category because I was just recently sick and couldn't eat for 3 days and lost a ton of weight as a result.

I'm about 130 and am 5'3", so in between healthy and moderate is where I'm at. I want to lose a few pounds though, I was 119 after I had my baby I have no excuse to be the weight I am now.

You were kind of rude in the post that I made, so I just figured you were doing it to be kind of mean here also. Clearly, I have things to work through with myself, and I wasnt being insulting to you or anyone else by calling MY BODY flabby or whatever.

Look, I really really hate conflict but I can get pretty defensive when I feel like someone is targeting me or something without much good reason. I'm sorry if I offended you, but you have to be able to see it from my perspective as well.
