So, about three days ago I started bleeding. Not really heavy, but not light enough to consider spotting either. But it's not my period because I got off of my period 2 weeks ago. I thought maybe my boyfriend hurt me while we were having sex (and no it's not my first time, we've been together and having intercourse for around 2 years). But I think if he would have hurt me I would have felt a pain or something.

I forgot to take one of my birth control pills about a week ago so I thought maybe that messed me up a little. But i've been on birth control almost 2 years and i've missed pills several times before in the past and I never bleed afterwards and i've always gotten along with my pills so I really don't think that's what it is. It's not normal for me.

Then some other people say I may be pregnant but I really doubt it because i'm on the pill, and I don't know why i'd be bleeding if I was pregnant unless i'm in an early stage and my periods are off because of my pills or what. But I really doubt i'm pregnant.

I really have no idea what's going on, i'm betting that I got hurt somehow during sex but like I said I really just don't know. I plan on going to the doctor if it doesn't stop after tommorrow because that will be four days. Does anybody have any ideas what this could be?

No idea, but being male, I wouldn't have any experience in this field.

But why are you waiting? If I was bleeding unexpectantly for 4 days, then I would have been to the doctor already. Waiting doesn't help anything. Get there fast. It could be nothing, but it could also be something serious.(Maybe an STD?)

My guess would be that it is something related to your birth control. With BC breakthrough bleeding (aka spotting) can be a flow very similar to that of a period, which is what you've described.
