I just wanted to know, basically, what you did to get a six pack? How many sit ups a day, and how much cardio work you did?
At the moment, I can feel my abs when I tense, but there is a little bit of belly fat (roughly 2.5 cm when tensed) covering them up. What would I have to do to get them to show, and how long would it take? Because, right now I'm doing 20 minute runs daily, and about 100 sit ups a day, plus eating healthily, would that be enough to achieve a six pack, and if so, how long will it take?
Re: FAO People with a 6 pack - A bit of advice needed
lol it takes forever I used to have one when I was training daily for soccer but now they faded a bit I did about a mile a day intense soccer 100 sit ups and about 20minutes of 100yard sprints its really hard to keep and to get in my opinion its not worth it.

Our school's weight room has this bench that folds so it's at a down incline and it has things that you can put your feet in.
Usually I get on that and put a 25 lb plate on my chest and do a few sets of 15 rep situps. Don't go all the way down and touch the bench after you've come up though, only go about half way down and you'll burn more fat that way.

i wouldnt say running is gonna help wit ur 6-pack now what helped me was
100-200 crunches spread throughout the day
leg rises (lay on ur back lift legs 1 foot off the ground for 30 - 1 minute)
side hold up (lay on ur side and push off the ground with one arm and hold for 30 to a minute)
static pushup (get in pushup position and hold for AS LONG AS YOU CAN)
be carefull if you do these right ur chest will be KILLING YOU and it may be hard to stand straight, but thats a sign that its workin

6 inches - lay down and sit on your hands. Then lift your feet 6 inches off the ground and your shoulders 6 inches off the ground. Hold it for 30 seconds the first time. A minute the second and so on. It is extremely hard, we did it in football for 2 minutes and there was one guy that started crying. You will have your 6 pack in less than a month if you do those twice a day every day.

Very true.
And as I say, I've only got a little (2.5 cm when tensed), but it's enough to prevent my abs from showing. So what will I have to do to get that to go?
Re: FAO People with a 6 pack - A bit of advice needed
just search it on google or youtube. Diet is important as well, reguardless of how many situps you do they won't show if you've got a layer of fat over them

If you need to trim up your stomach the best thing to do is running. Of course cycling is good for you...but you have to bike a lot farther to get the equivalent of running a mile. Depending on what kind of bike you're riding and the terrain you're riding on...4 miles of biking is about the same as 1 mile of running. My advice for running is to start small. If you haven't run much before, start with a mile a day. Jog at a pace you can keep the whole time. After about a week or two (whenever you feel comfortable) move up to 2 miles. The key is to keep running. Hopefully you can build up to 4-5 miles a day and clock in 28-35 miles a week. The belly fat will be gone in no time. Good luck
