Money: 13,441 My Mood: Points: 67,057, Level: 63 | | Diet I want to go on a healthy diet, but I have no idea how to start.
I want someone to help me make a diet, maybe help me start me off?
I'd like to lose 20 pounds, and I'll also be exercising.
Keep in mind I'm a college student with very little money, so something cheap would be great.
Thanks to whoever helps |

Money: 584 | Re: Diet Eat a hardy, carb-filled (it should be from healthy foods like wheat and fruit, though) breakfast, as it will give your body and metabolism the first (and most important) boost of energy.
Throughout the day, healthy and well portioned snacking is encouraged. Never starve yourself, but don't eat until you're full either. Eat wheat bread instead of white, because it has more fiber in it. Cut soda out pretty much completely. Do drink some juices though, just read the label as, like doolie mentioned, a lot of them tend to have a lot of sugar in them.
Good things to drink while dieting are of course water and lots of it, soy milk (Silk brand tastes the best, but it's a little pricier than regular milk), and tea. If you don't like drinking water, you can buy flavored water. They do sell flavored water with no sugar added, though sometimes it's harder to find.
Finally, for dinner, try Lean Cuisine. It's cheap, but really good, and it's portioned for people trying to lose weight. Don't eat more than 2-3 hours before you go to bed. |

Money: 449 | Re: Diet Alrighty, this is something I know alot about. For one Diets never Officially work you will end up gaining the weight back. You need a life style change. Like everyone else has said you need to drink water, lots and lots of water. If you get tired of not having taste go out and buy protein packs, or crystal light packets. You need to eat breakfast. Many studies have shown people can loose weight just from starting to eat breakfast. Multiple small meals also help alot! My mom has lost 47lbs in 3 months or so. She eats Quakers weightcontrol oatmeal in the morning a yogurt about 3 hours later then she has a lunch usually a leanpocket with a yogurt or apple sauce then about 4 hours later she has some almonds and a string cheese about 2-3 hours later she has dinner which is usually a lean meat a salad and some more veggies. She has done great from this! I know you say you are a college student but have you ever heard of a bodybugg? look them up on ebay and on google check it out it is great! it counts your calories burned throughout the day you can get them pretty cheap on ebay. It has helped motivate my mom big time
Hope this helps have any questions message me
