fitness goals and support

(sorry that this is kinda long :/)

Hey guys,

Last night was my dads birthday so I ate really bad. Around 11pm I decided to work out. I worked out for about 30mins then took a shower. This morning I decided, I AM GOING TO DO THIS! I want this forum to be for those who are trying to lose weight to be fit. This is for support. If you have negative comments just please try and keep them to yourself.

First of all. I don't do crash diets. They don't work. They give you results('water weight"-my old nutritionist) at first then you gain it back and sometimes more. I am going for a life style change. In order to stay healthy you have to break habits.

I will say right now I am not the smallest person around, but I am not Obese either. My older brother is getting married on OCTOBER 18 and I am supposed to be in the wedding. I still haven't found a dress, or lost weight for one. Now I am cracking down. I want to lose at least 7lbs by the wedding. My overall goal is 38lbs. I don't want to lose it in small amount of time so hope you bear with me, and some even join me

I eat quakers weightcontrol oatmeal for breakfast with a 1/2 cup of fat free milk. For lunch I have a HUGE salad with Babygreens and balsalmic vinegarette (19 calories a serving) and a lean piece of mean or 2 slices of deli turkey. Tonight for dinner I am actually going to spulrge because its friday, and that is usually our one day to do it.

I have a tool I use called a bodybugg. It is magnificent! It counts the calories you burn then you go online and log what you ate that day. It really helps motivate me when working out. Today I worked out for 20mins looked at my body bug watch and said Nope 100 calorie burn is not enough so I hopped on the treadmill until I did what I thought was at least 200 calories. (I am not good at mental math) I got on the computer and logged it on and saw for the time period I worked out I burned 365 calories. The body bugg tells you how many calories you should eat and burn a day to reach your goal by a certain time. It's great! Check them out at apexfitness.com, but if you decide to buy one I advise you look on ebay.(much cheaper )

Well I will check on here every day and keep posting what I did that day even if no one reads cause for me its a motivation thing. Take care and hope some of you will be interested in following me in my journy to fitness.

I wish you the best of luck, you seem pretty set on completing your goals and for that, Kudos.

Motivation and support is also a key element, which I found out the hard way. Hopefully you can fit into a nice dress and look stunning for your brothers wedding.

Last night I burned all the calories needed and more but....... I went to a party lol I couldn't resist there was like 60 people and for this small town I live in it was a pretty big deal so I know I went over my calorie intake. Oh well I will try and burn it off today even though I am super super sore! My brother says I look like the old people at our moms work when their nurses pull them out of their wheelchairs to walk them but I am going to do upper body today. I refuse to give up

Thats fine We can barely eat right now, but are still eating healthy. We just go to Costco (like a Sams club) and get a huge bag of chicken breast and Mixed baby greens and live off that lol.

Alright DAY 3

I am dying I am so sore I could barely walk this morning. Lucky me mom decides she wants to go shopping today! We walked around for 5 hours. My legs hurt soooo bad. I didn't work out today. I need the rest. I will be back at it again tomorrow though. I almost lost my bodybugg in the mall. I left it in the dressing room but one of the workers returned it to me. THANK GOODNESS! Burned more calories then I am supposed to. (Good thing) Going to bed now.
