Money: -1,179 | Eating Disorders in Boys. Okay, so there's all this media and news stuff about anorexic and bulimic celebs, and they're all girls.
Problem is, there are anorexic and bulimic guys, too. Where's the awareness on that?
Post if you have something to say in the matter.

I personally think the media only focuses on the girls because it's been proven that they have problems adjusting to their body.
I wish more people would understand that guys go through the same amount of shit that girls do.

But i agree though they should make more awareness about it, and people should start looking at the fact its not just the girls with ED's its the guys aswell.

Though i'm fat, i don't think that anorexia is the solution to lose weight, you risk losing your life instead!!!! |

Money: -200 | Re: Eating Disorders in Boys. i know a few guys who 'diet' but in truth, its an ED. they just dont know what it is. Ive mentioned the idea of anorexia to one friend, and he said "guys dont get anorexia." and that was it. it is also alot of testosterone-driven matcho stuff, i think. guys arent suppose to be like that, anorexia is supposedly a girl thing.

Money: -2,191 | Re: Eating Disorders in Boys. im currently doing THIS EXACT TOPIC in a lesson.
its 90-95% girls suffer anerexia or bulima and only 5-10% guys.
thats why most people concentrate on female.
its gets to the point where females get so skinny there periods will stop and they will never be able to reproduce.
i think its a major issue for females because pof the constant pressure of the media and its always been that girls are more concious of there looks.

not all the time is it to get skinny. most people with bulimia stay the same weight
