If I tap my feet on the floor, I have to tap them the same amount of times.. Some times if I write a paper, and I don't like my handwriting, I rip it up and start all over. If one of my nails bend back, I tear the nail tip off... My jewelry boxes have to be stacked biggest to smallest.. My bathroom rug has to be straight or I freak out.. * That is all I can think of at the moment*

My brother has it worse, though.

- My handwriting isn't the same height, size and shape.
- If my i's aren't dotted.
and I also:
- colour code my wardrobe
- have to have all the clothes pins on the line in a pattern like if the pattern was spposed to b red- blue red blue and I run out of reds it makes me antsy
- and yea i do have trouble eating around old ppl |

if my vegetable touch my meat, i will not eat any of it.
i always put my left shoe on first.
i take a set route to and from school everyday.
if a clock is ticking i go insane!
if someone mumbles i have to yell at them to speak up!

Money: -2,057 | Re: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I feel you on this lol. I don't touch door knobs, or public doors at all. At work I constantly clean off handles, counter tops, everything. I can't stand to touch things like that. I also have to have things organized. Like papers, datted, and filed. But my room is a disaster, I keep it clutterd, but its all in order. I also have to have things symmetrical. If there is a dot on one side, there must be on the other I can't stand it other wise. Everything I do is
symmetrical. |

Also this is rather long so i appologize.
Anyway, I have OCD, I was diagnosed with OCD when I was twelve. I am now fourteen and I am a male by the way. I first realized the possibility that I might have it two months and three days before I was diagnosed with it when my friends suggested that I might have it. Luckily I have great friends who accept it really.
I always worry about things that most people find pointless, every night I always worry that the house will burn down because of an electrical fire so I always unplug everything in my room and then I still worry about it, sometimes for hours. I worry about my family and my dogs all the time and think something bad will happen to them. I am horribly worried that I will get a disease so when I am eating I am always conscious of who is around and I can never share a drink.
I can never have my food touching and I always need to have twelve peas the same size in order on plate and if anyone touches it I can not eat it. When I go to restaurants I always need to have milk and I always specify that I need the cap still on and if it is off I always get a new one. When I am watching television I always need to have the volume on an even number. When I enter a word into a search engine and it is only with search engines I need to make sure that the word is spelt right and I always get concerned that it is wrong even if it is just a simple word like "tomorrow" and I will have to look it up in a dictionary before I click "search". Germs are one of my worst problems because I can not touch anything without knowing it is clean and if I do I need to scrub my hands vigorously. Always keep my hands clean and wash them. At home I always clean the house. My parents try to stop me when they are home but when they are not I just clean and clean and clean until everything is clean. My room is always clean, all my books are in alphabetical order.
I could go on but this is definitly long enough so thanks for reading. |

You could have carried on writing; it's quite interesting. |

I have to use gloves for dishes. Eww. And I like.. Repeatedly wash each one. So it ends up taking an hour to wash them. Thank god I do them once in a blue moon.
