Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

A few examples:

- Washing your hands repeatedly.
- Wanting everything to be in order, always.
- Craving patterns and regularity in everything.

I think I'm very OCD. I scrub my hands like crazy even if I just touch my brother [I can't stand him.]. If I put a full stop at the end of something in a bullet-pointed list, I have to put a full stop at the end of everything in that list. If I scratch my right arm, I have to scratch my left arm too. If one bone clicks in my fingers without me actually clicking it, I have to click the same finger on the other hand first, and then click all the others, in some kind of order. If I type in slang, I have to use the same abbreviations/alternatives for words in that entire email, conversation or text message, e.g. 'i went 2 my mates house n her mum an dad wer askin me bout ma two exams'. That is a no-no. Which is why I've decided it's probably easier for me to just type in Standard English.

So, are you OCD? How do you deal with it?

Well, I'm only slightly ocd. I need for things to have some sort of order or rythem or whatever. Like, things either have to be even, or a certian kinda of odd (sounds weird, but...whatever. lol). My mom is kinda ocd too.

I think I have slight OCD as well. I like things to be in alphabetical order (like my movies, if one is out of order, I have to fix it ).


Same thing with my writing. If I think what I wrote is too light (like I didn't write dark enough), I will re-trace my writing over again.

Slighty OCD.
I can't have people touch my food.
People can't drink after me.
I wash my hands eight times a day.
Wash them before using the bathroom.
Can't stand watching people put their fingers in their drink.
Have to have things in order.
Can't touch other peoples food.

I'm almost to the point of where if my food touch I spaz.

Chris, that's not even funny! Seriously, it makes you go crazy. This morning I was trying to find a cup, and I got one from the drainer thing at the side of the sink, but then I thought maybe my brother had drank out of it, even though it was clean, so I put it back and washed my hands six times. Then I went to the cupboard to find one, but then I thought he could have drank out of any of those last aswell, even though they were all clean, so I was looking at this stack of five cups trying to work out which one to drink from. In the end I just grabbed one with my eyes closed [Ten minutes later, may I add, by which time my toast had gone cold.] and put it in the sink, washed my hands four times, and then washed the cup. When I wash a cup or a glass, I have to wash the top of it first, then the outside, then the inside, then the bottom. When I wash a spoon, if the bit that goes in your mouth touches my hand, I freak out. I don't wear gloves when washing up though, because your hands feel all sweaty inside them and other people use them too.

Oh my God, it really is taking over my life.

Aww. **puts on gloves and hugs* lol But seriously, I know how you feel. When I'm at my nana's I have to at least wash my hands and then wipe off the top of a glass with my fingers and a napkin since it would be rude to wash it before using it. But i usually just drink from a can to save myself of that.

Oh, and have you ever been in a public restroom where someone will walk out of the stall and not wash their hands? Omng, I'll have to wash my hands EXTRA hard (in terms of scrubbing) after I see that. And I *always* open the doors with my foot. haha

I think I have a bit of OCD. If I bite my nails on my right arm, I have to bite my nails on my left arm. I put a precise amount of milk,sugar and hot water in each cup of tea I make. I like all my ornaments to be in a very straight line.
