It's a bacteria. Try gargling with vinegar with salt added. Swallow some to get it deeper into the throat. Also you can swallow as much unsalted vinegar as you can stand. It lessens the pain a lot.
I know it sounds awful but it really does work and no side effects.

i am being treated for it. thanks for the sugestion my mom actualy said gargle salt water. viniger is a new aproach.
but my real question is how does this bacteria get in my throat? could it happen from making out with someone? or are there other ways too?

Strep throat is caused by group A streptococcal bacteria, Streptococcus pyogenes. The organisms are transmitted from one infected person to another. In the laboratory, these bacteria are grown on blood agar where they cause a clear halo around the colonies due to the damage to the red blood cells. You can get strep throat by kissing or having someone else who has it cough or sneeze around you. But yes, the vinegar is suggested by most doctors because it kills the bacteria. You should try it. It will clear it up within days.

well on the vinigar. i have a much more efficient way of killing bacteria, viruses and germs. the way i have will simply annilate and virus. any virus. any bacteria. and and germ. that is in a persons blood system, no matter where it is.

Just leave it... it will get better by its self..their was an important scientific who i dont really remember his name da point is that he said BODY can fix his self..no matter how much hurted he is..the organism fix in self..but in some situations..of course..But dont listen 2 me

My Dad heard about it in the 50's. Any transfer of saliva, kissing or even touching your hand to his saliva then to your mouth, nose or eyes can transfer the bacteria. You could just touch his fork and that would do it.

now its prett ymuch gone, however i want to know the likely hoodof a reoccurence. see, i can feel something there on my throat. but its so small that i cant tell if its left over bacteria, or what it is.
any ideas?

He could only pass it on for a day or two so it was just bad luck.
You can't feel bacteria. Your throat is probably a little swollen still and it should go away.

also "cant feel bacteria" ... eh. difference in opinion. bacteria is a life energy. and i can feel it. like i could even pin point it to show you where i feel it, and i would suppose that if a little camera tub was used i would be correct. i havnt tested it, its just somoething i know.
