Releasing Anger
I've never been an "angry" person. I'm very empathedic, so i tendto absorb the feelings of others. so aparantly i'v absorbed a lot of anger, and also, just simply bottled up my own anger.
i've never had a release for this anger, and never even thought about it. so i dont know how to let it go. any sugestions?

Re: Releasing Anger
box, fence, martial arts, take a bat to someone(i'm kidding on that one... a bat to the ribs sucks... trust me on that one...)
i personally work out to the point where my body gives out... that way i can't take my anger out on anyone... but it's really up to you on what makes you calmer...

Re: Releasing Anger
Work out!
if your angry, use it to your advantage! It will make your workouts sooo much better. When i was having problems with my ex, i used to go to the gym like everyday and thanks to my anger, i got more toned

Re: Releasing Anger
Hah. Its good to let out that agression somewhere, it can lead to depression. I know. I take out my anger with Football, Tae Qwon Do, I Airsoft and target shoot. Shooting your friends randomly with an airsoft gun is too much fun.

Re: Releasing Anger
- punch the walls. not good.
- run into the sofas. try not to hit the wall.
- work out to the max.
- deep breaths. its only ever worked once for me.
- throw yourself into something. like a project. not the middle of the road.

t's a good thing you clarified that, not in to the middle of the road, cause that was my first option.
lol
thanks to all hwo sugested something.
and the deep breathing is actuayl good for me. ubt it wasnt at first, theres a certain technique i learned. not jst breathing but consciously breathing , being aware of my breathing. also the deep breathes tend to be surprisingly effective if you do them as if u just ran for a while nad need air. like deep breathes and hands over head to give more room. completely regenerates your energy almost instantly.

Re: Releasing Anger
Meditation works wonders too, michele! Put on some relaxing music, light some candles as a bonus, and meditate
it works wonders.
Actually, 30 minutes of meditation (preferably before bed) a day is very very good for you. it would be a great to add it in a daily routine.

Re: Releasing Anger
You can physically take out your anger, nothing wrong with that; or I personally like to Chant (im buddhist) and the repetitive motion of chanting helps relieve anger and stress. You can meditate too, or to stick with the repeditive motion thing: walking is a great anger reliever. Gives you time to think and to calm down.
