Recovery time

I was in a fight a couple hours back. Not a real fight, more like backyard MMA minus the gloves and mats and mouth guard. It's been like two hours and I'm still very dizzy and my vision is still kind of blurry with a slight headache. I've done this before and my recovery is always slow, I'll feel dizzy and weak for the rest of the day. Vision coming back slightly faster then the other two. I was wondering what the normal recovery time for stuff like that is.

Re: Recovery time

Up to 3 months you can suffer side effects of CONCUSSION.

This can be deadly, keep an eye on it

Re: Recovery time

Im usualy fine after a couple of hours from a severe bash to the head, bout a month ago in a rugby game a no. 8 tried to smash me into touch and as i dipped my shoulder into the tackle we ended up butting each other, my head was in the clouds for the rest of the game but i was fine by the time i got home, about 2 hours later (apart from the egg on my head )

Re: Recovery time

not smart haha

this is going to be completely up to you and how you feel.... we can't judge how you will feel tomorrow or the day after, or in 3 months from now. You know your body better than we know it so get good rest (sleep) and eat well

Re: Recovery time

I definently agree with the whole CONCUSSION assumption... I as well do MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and its important to use proper equipment such as gloves and mats. could honestly take 2-4 weeks depending on the severness. Good luck be safe
