Haha do not take this seriously. It's just a pretend joke...she's not actually "lying" to you about something important. There's no need to get upset or start a fight. She obviously feels the need to impress you. Just ignore it.

How old is your friend? She sounds very young. I don't know anyone above the age of thirteen who would even begin to believe her about the ear piece gadget. There are phones that you clip onto your ear, but obviously not invisible ones. I wouldn't confront her about this, mainly because I would find that situation a bit amusing.

It would be interesting to see what else she could possibly come up with. If it's troubling you, then you could talk to her if you want. You could start off by questioning the picture, since Jesse has green eyes and not blue.

OKAY. First of all, definatly do not smack her! DON'T say anything that would praise her lying, but don't mention lying to her because she doesn't know that you know she's lying. Just go with it. Eventually, she'll stop because she knows you have no intrest in that. If she's lying to you, she's probably jealous of something. Did you get a boyfriend, did you get a great new haircut? Think it through! Good luck, I'm sure this problem will resolve, it seems like no big deal.
