i will say im going on a diet or that im going to try and be a vegitairain(missspelled srry) but then she will cook a gaint batch of cookies or my favorite meal with meat in it with out making a none meat dish

it upsets me b/c i really want to loose wieght and noone knows how hard it is to resist my mom cooking

My sister is a vegetarian and my mom REFUSED to make her anything to eat. My sister either had to buy for herself, or starve.

The only reason now my mom's finally going to make healthier meals is because my dad had a heart attack and can't eat so unhealthy anymore.

My mum's good, I'm a vegetarian and she has no problem making me a meal, maybe you should just tell your mum you don't like it when she does it

not really, my dad cooks, and im 125, and i eat wayy to much and all unhealty.. prob 3 sports i do..

my mom is a vegetarian, everyday she cooks veggie stuff for the whole family. my mom would be over the moon if i tell her i want to be a vegetarian. haha.

how about learning how to cook yourself?

or she won't let you use the kitchen? or u should ask her why she do not want you to be a vegetarian. or, if you don't want to ask her directly, ask ur father to ask her.

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Guess not. My mother does this ALL OF THE TIME. You just have to have self control and say no.

eat infront of them. but you dont have to eat what they eat.
if yer parents are gonna cook you a meal steam some vegetables yourself andeatthem instead or on yer plate and then leave the meat n stuff saying your full.

you jsut have to get in there before them

I brought up the vegetarian phase to my mum a few months back. She had the theory that animals were put on the earth to be ate by man kind. After viewing many videos on the topic, I disagreed highly.

I stopped eating meat for seven full days. And these seven days were the worse. I got weak because I wasn't doing the proper diet. I would only eat salads and cereal. I didn't want food that had animal flavors in them at all. So, I wasn't getting any health foods in my diet.

I was forced to eat meat. The whole time I cried. Because it wasn't what I wanted to do. But I dealt with it, the best I could. I decided yesterday I would stop eating meat for good. And my grandparents brought me beef jerky. And I can't eat it so it will just go bad.

My mum hates the idea. But I don't need her to cook for me either. I do what I please. If she doesn't like it then she will have to get over it. Same with your mum. Do what you please.
