im 14 and i get grounded quite alot, but I kinda know thats common thing.

But i still sometimes get the belt but when I was younger I used to just get a wack on the butt but now i get the belt on bare legs like above my knees front and sometimes on the back. Has anyone had the same, cus bare legs and the belt hurrt

My parents have never used the belt on me or anything to hit me. I did used to have to write a shit load of sentences when I was younger though.

I've never been grounded, but my mother does used a belt, hairbrush or wooden spoon. There's not much point in grounding me, since I never go anywhere.

My mom doesn't believe in groundings and she doesn't hit me. The only thing she will do is take my net away or take my phone away which isn't often.

Ye like I only started getting it on the legs when I was fighting with my brother in the car and my dad hit our legs. i guess its not as embarrasing of people are around. But i have to keep my legs easy to get too which is stupid. so i have to wear shorts for basically everything

I just get grounded or privileges taken away, my parents have never hit me in any way at all... i guess they dont believe that violence helps discipline children.. i don't know, I know some people that used to be smacked or spanked when they were younger but not in their teens
